Our Instructor staff includes several high ranking members of our Instructor community. As well as being talented martial artists, our instructors are certified at the United Studios of Self Defense Teaching Academy.

Academy Certified Instructors
Karen Mahoney Karen is the Chief Instructor of United Studios of Self Defense Burlingame. She teaches men, women, and children ages 4 and above. She enjoys teaching in the Burlingame community and likes teaching birthday parties, hosting karate movies nights, and getting students prepared for their tournament. She has been with USSD since 1998, teaches kempo karate and cardio kickboxing.
